Team Milk’s Every Woman’s Marathon is coming to New Orleans!
Team Milk, in collaboration with The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, recently announced it will host Every Woman’s Marathon, a full-length 26.2-mile race, on the streets of New Orleans. The race will take place on Feb. 28, 2027. The exact race route will be announced at a later date.
New Orleans Mayor Helena Moreno helped welcome the event to the city with the help of GNOSF Executive Committee Member and PhelpsDunbar partner Kim Boyle; City Council President JP Morrell; Vice President of Marketing at MilkPEP Miranda Abney; NOPD Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick; and New Orleans and Company Vice President Alice Glenn.
Early access registration opened Feb. 19 with general registration following Feb. 26th and participation numbers are already strong. With about 80% of registrants out of state and 40% having never run a marathon before, it’s safe to say this event will bring an inviting and vibrant atmosphere to the Crescent City.
